So up at Kinkry Hill we’re almost ready to start our first groups!
We wanted to start with something really fun, but also really needed, so we decided on school holiday sessions for over 8’s, young people who know their minds and would much rather muck about in the woods than go to granny’s or the childminder’s while their parents are at work!
Here’s a bit of info to wet your taste buds. If it looks like it might be up your street send us an email, firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll send you some more information.
Explore the woods, make dens, make fires, cook . . eat! Build things, use tools, make art, dig streams, plant trees, move pigs, herd chickens.
Do what you like, how you like!
Read maps, do research, make treasure hunts that go 5 miles and take all day. Track weasels, foxes, deer. . .
An opportunity to get dirty and create adventures with your friends just like kids did in the good old days! Judging risks, looking after each other, discovering stuff and most importantly having fun! The difference is we make sure it happens within a physically and emotionally safe environment.
‘Old skool’ – holidays sessions are designed especially for young people age 8 and over. We respect your independence, existing skills and knowledge and give you the freedom to explore on your own terms.
